In case you're wondering what brought this on...
Well, this came up from watching too much of Navy NCIS.
I love the show so much... it reminds me of the times of 'Macgyver' and 'The A Team'. You know... shows with smart, funny, cute & charming people (men...). They are always optimistic, willing to help and always figured out a way to overcome obstacles. There are no problem, just challenges...
Anyway, today's entry is nothing important really.
I just want to express my Navy NCIS related wish.
Bring back Special Agent Paula Cassidy to Navy NCIS!
They already killed Special Agent Caitlin Todd a.k.a Kate. Then, they killed Special Agent Paula Cassidy. I'm not happy! I miss those two! I can't hope that they bring back 'Kate'. They killed her by putting a bullet through her head... if they brought her back, it would be so ridiculous... not to forget scary... eeee...
But then, they haven't brought Paula Cassidy back to the show. I'm pretty sure her character is still alive somewhere in the script. We didn't get to see her dead body after the explosion behind a wall in season 4. I have yet to see the episode in season 6 where her picture is hung on wall of 'The Fallen'... we're still in season 5 here. Come on... the writers can be creative right? Hopefully they'll find a way to bring her back.
Paula Cassidy will make a very good addition to Gibbs's team and an excellent 'partner' for DiNozzo. She's the only one who can get to him and he cared so much for her... well, I think they cared so much for each other... *wink wink*

hey, there... I watch the NCIS reruns on USA almost everyday in my office. The team keeps me company while I work. Today was the "Grace Period" where we lose Special Agent Paula Cassidy... I'm like you: first Kate, now Cassidy??? C'mon! Quit killing off the more interesting female agents! Happen to love Jessica Steen and have followed her career, starting with Homefront. Thrilled to see her on NCIS and to see her having a recurring role - then the blow her to bits! Ugh. Sometimes this show ticks me off! What-ever.

Finally someone understands how I feel! I really love Agents Todd & Cassidy. Navy NCIS not that interesting without the two. and seriously... why are they keep killing the interesting female agents?
I loved Paula Cassidy. She was one of the best guest stars on NCIS. Terrific actress, and beautiful to boot. But, I have to disagree with the Ziva bashing. Ziva is a far more interesting character, much deeper than Kate. So many layers. I got the impression Kate was pretty shallow. Her relationship with Tony got pretty predictable. And Cote is fabulous in the role. Some of the best acting on the show - and that's saying a lot - is done by Cote. Wow. Bring back Paula... keep Ziva.

I'm being unfair to Ziva ya? heheheee... sorry :) But I hardly watch NCIS after we lost Kate & Paula. But there's one episode of Ziva which I like. "Dead Man Walking" if I'm not mistaken... we got to see the other side of her *wink*
One thing I agree with you... bring back Paula Cassidy to NCIS!
Actually Kate's death is pretty easily reversed! All you have to do is say that Ari blackmailed Kate into faking her own death or he was going to kill everyone she cared about. If you put Ari behind the whole ploy, then you can say he never actually shot Kate. That instead Ari kidnapped her and you guys can see where I'm going. Just like that, Kate's alive.
Gibbs: "Agent Todd's dead."
Franks: "Doesn't have to be...."
