From my garden...

Hi Guys,

I've started gardening since the last AidilFitri. My first plant, a pomegranate plant. Mainly because there are so many advantages of pomegranates and they are so expensive in the market. So, I figured why not try to grow one. So I bought a small plant when I was back at my Grandma's house. And I checked yesterday, there is already one bud. I'm so psyched! I hope it will grow into a big healthy fruit.

Since I started gardening, I've started to realize things that I never realized before.
Have you ever seen the fruit or the flower of a curry plant? If you haven't, they look like pictures below.

In the spirit of becoming the true nature lover, I started to plant a few more flower & decorative plants. Now my lawn looks much greener, lovelier and prettier!

I've also planted a few more plants that my mother can use in her cooking. I have turmeric plant, Daun Kesum (the ones that we usually put in laksa) and kaffir lime. We already have lemongrass & pandan leaves growing healthily at home even before my gardening madness started.

I've failed a few times at planting ginger from it's root (or rhizome) so I paid no attention to last root that I planted. But almost after a month of ignoring it, I finally saw a leave coming out from it! I'm so happy!

All these while, I thought I don't have the green fingers. I mean, why should I think that because all the plants that I tried planting before ended up dead... even cactus! But now, seeing all the plants striving despite the hazy season, I finally realized something...

You don't really need green fingers to become good at gardening. I don't think it depends on 'luck'. It requires some work, consistency, persistency, caring and love... About the same with other things in life, wouldn't you agree?

I do talk to my plants & kiss them after I came home from work. Hehehehee... If you can see how beautiful they are, you'll kiss them too!

Next project, trying to grow some parsley... I have failed a few times at this. *sigh*

Paragliding @ Jugra... such an awesome experience!

Y'alls! I went paragliding today!
Such an awesome experience. So, so awesome. Loved it!

I'm sooooo like a little girl with a maximum level of sugar overdosed :P
Feeling so happy and excited and accomplished after my first and second paragliding experience today.

I went with my friend, Siti who is such an adventurous girl. She's done this before and she was so sweet to come & support me on my first try. But, she ended up doing it, again...

See... paragliding can be addictive :P

That's my buddy, Siti... flying... niceeee...
The feelings? Mixed... Excited, nervous (of course...), confident, happy... and nervous... again... and again... hahahaaa... I'm not trying to scare you guys. I'm just being honest... ngeeee...

Luckily I have been mentally prepared, so I was not as nervous as I usually would be. Phewwww...

That's me... in the air.. yippeeeeee...

And if you look carefully at the picture, the people on the ground, they are actually rescuing someone who had an incident during his take-off. That definitely added to my nervousness...

But still, I did the paragliding twice.

Told you it can be addictive.

Flying tandem with Captain Ikhwan :) You can't be thinking that I was flying solo :P
I highly recommend flying tandem with Captain Ikhwan... but other guides (not sure if that's what they are called) are qualified too.

So, if you have been thinking of doing paragliding, or thinking of doing something different and awesome, or craving for some adrenalin rush... or simply looking for a simple yet awesome adventure, just head off to the Paragliding Flight Park @ Jugra.

I hope you'll have an awesome experience... Just like I did!

Awesome is my favourite word of the day.

Coz, everything IS awesome!

Ahaks!

Nite nite y'alls! I wish you guys a wonderful day, everyday!

Sultan Abdul Samad building at night (Kuala Lumpur)

I passed by this building on my way home last night. This building is always beautiful at night. It's always lighted with colours. Some nights, it's lighted with different colours, but tonight, only purple. I usually don't stop to admire its view. But last night I did... and I can share the view with you guys :)

There were a few other cars parked by the roadside. All of them, were also taking photographs of this building with their DSLR...

I was only armed with my phone camera :p

Nevertheless, the pictures are still good & I want to share it here.

Enjoy!

US Navy airshow @ TUDM Subang Airbase

Ok... these are some pictures of the jets that inspired my very long walks yesterday. Due to too much excitement, I only snapped one picture of this jet and it turned out to be really really bad. So I have to borrow this picture from the internet.

Sukhoi Jet (photo by shinobikit) @

This jet was really impressive. While it was in the sky, looked like it stopped and hovered there. WOW!!!! This is one jet that you don't want to mess with. But, is there a jet that we want to mess with? Heheheheee... The best thing about this jet was... the pilot waved back when we waved at him... yeayyyy!!!

And then, there were these jets. They said it was F-16. Woooooo... the airshow was impressive. The pilots were skillful. They flew low, they went very high, they did acrobatic moves. The scary part is, you can't hear them when they are approaching. Eeeeee...

Here are some pictures that I managed to snap.
Looked like I can handle my camera as fast as the jets... hihihiiiii...

Another fan of the airshow :)

These airoplanes were not in the airshow... they were landing at Subang Airport.
The jets have to give way to them first.

Can't wait for another airshow. I'll definitely make sure I get to take photos with the jets and its pilots next time!

I'll be back!
